Kalam extends Ugadi greetings

NEW DELHI, APRIL 8. The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has greeted the people on the occasion of Vikram Samvatsar, Chaitra Sukladi, Gudi Padava, Ugadi, Cheti Chand, Navreh and Sajibu Cheiraoba, which would be celebrated tomorrow.

In a message here, Dr. Kalam extended his good wishes to the people. "The people of our country celebrate these joyous festivals in the beginning of the New Year. May we all welcome this season of spring time with resolve to work hard for growth, prosperity, well being and brotherhood of the nation," he said.
