Weather

A partly cloudy sky has been forecast for the city on Saturday. The maximum temperature will be around 36 degree C.

At Waltair, the maximum temperature was 33 degree C and the minimum was 26.4 degree C respectively on Friday. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 65 per cent and at 5.30 p.m. 73 per cent.

At Airport, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 35.4 and 26 degree C respectively. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 65 per cent and at 5.30 p.m. 65 per cent.

The maximum and minimum temperatures were 33.9 and 24.6 degree C respectively at Dolphin's Nose. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 69 per cent.

Ugadi fete

Visakha Sahiti will organise `panchanga sravanam' and `kavi sammelanam' on the occasion of Ugadi at the State Information Centre on Saturday. Noted writer, Vemuganti Vasudeva Rao, would conduct `panchanga sravanam'.

Special menu

Hotel Green Park will offer an authentic South Indian Ugadi special menu, including traditional Andhra delicacies, on Saturday. Floral decoration, rangoli and lights will create the Ugadi ambience.

`Snacks Dhamaka'

Dolphin Hotel is organising a `Ugadi Snacks Dhamaka' on Saturday evening at its Poolside restaurant. A rich variety of snacks are on the menucard.

Hi-tech bus

The Visakha Region of RTC is launching a new AC hi-tech bus service from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad via Rajahmundry and Khammam. The new service will be inaugurated at 3.30 p.m. at the Dwaraka Bus Station on Saturday.
