Dust, haze to persist
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at Safdarjung on Friday were 35.1 degrees Celsius and 24.7 degrees Celsius respectively, while Palam recorded a maximum temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25.4 degrees Celsius. While the maximum and minimum relative humidity at Safdarjung was 40 per cent and 10 per cent respectively, Palam recorded a maximum humidity of 40 per cent and a minimum of 14 per cent.
Pakistani woman arrested
Rafiqan, who had been staying here at Turkman Gate, disclosed that she had gone to the airport to receive the luggage sent by her son through a passenger named Abdul Hafij. Subsequently, she was handed over to the airport police, which booked her for criminal trespass.
Nurse jumps to death
The incident occurred around 6-30 a.m. when Samta Sharma, wife of Neeraj Sharma, allegedly jumped off the building. She was working with Ward No. 18 of the Ear Nose Throat (ENT) Department. She was married to Neeraj about a year ago. Her and Neeraj's fathers are sub-inspectors with the Delhi police.
