DUBAI, APRIL 9. Leading Indians took a beating in the Dubai Open chess tournament but Lanka Ravi and Abhijeet Gupta pulled of creditable draws against Grandmasters in the fifth round here on Friday. GMs Sandipan Chanda, K. Humpy and WIM Eesha Karavade lost their matches with black pieces. Some consolation to the Indian camp came when Ravi held fifth seed Russian Mikhail Kobalia and his younger teammate from ONGC Abhijeet drew with Ukraine's Sergey Fedoruchuk.
