JAMSHEDPUR, APRIL 9. India captain Sourav Ganguly was summoned by Match Referee Chris Broad for a hearing over his team's slow over-rate in the third ODI here on Saturday. The Indians took 27 minutes more that the allowed three-and-a-half hours to bowl the allotted 50 overs. Indian manager Baladitya, coach John Wright and the umpires Billy Bowden, K. Hariharan and third umpire A.V. Jayaprakash attended the hearing, where it was concluded that India had bowled three overs short. The number of overs were arrived at after making allowances for time lost due to factors over which the fielding captain had no control. Ganguly had committed a level-2 offence. The verdict is expected to be given in a day or two. Ganguly is expected to get away with a fine on his match fees. Our Principal Correspondent
