NAGPUR, APRIL 9. In a direct dialogue between the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leadership, four Chief Ministers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled States today called on the RSS chief, K. S. Sudarshan, in Nagpur, the headquarters of the Sangh. In a closed door meeting, the Chief Ministers Narendra Modi (Gujarat), Babulal Gaur (Madhya Pradesh), Vasundhra Raje (Rajasthan) and Raman Singh (Chhattisgsarh) today had hour-long talks with Mr. Sudarshan after paying tributes to the RSS founder, Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, at the memorial at Reshimbaug here. Although the the Chief Ministers had gathered in Nagpur to participate in Hedgewar's birth anniversary and to explore the possibility of setting up of "fuel-from-plastic" plants after visiting one such plant at the Butibori Industrial Estate set up by Prof. Alka Zadgaonkar, the meeting has assumed political importance . The Chief Ministers, when approached after their meeting with Mr. Sudarshan, refused to comment. They only said that they got inspiration from the Hedgewar memorial. Mr. Modi, who has come to Nagpur for the first time in his capacity as the Gujarat Chief Minister, extended his greetings to the people of Maharashtra on "Gudi Padva", marking the new year. The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Babulal Gaur, ruled out any change in the leadership in his State and added that Mr. Sudarshan advised him to undertake people-oriented schemes. Ms. Raje said Mr. Sudarshan asked them to explore the possibility of setting up plants on the lines of the one set up in Nagpur. Mr. Raman Singh arrived late and joined his counterparts later. Addressing a gathering, Mr. Sudarshan called upon the BJP-ruled Chief Ministers to take up projects to eradicate unemployment.
