BANGALORE, APRIL 9. East Cultural Association (ECA) `A' scored a 4-3 win over Indiranagar Club to lift the ECA-Arattukullam inter-club badminton tournament title at the ECA courts here. ECA in fact lost the first doubles before drawing level by winning the 55+ doubles throught Balachandra Warrier and M.D. Murali. But once again it was 3-3 before the second 45 + doubles pair of Vinod Das and Roshan George clinched the tie in its favour beating the Indiranagar Club duo of Sunil Bhandary and Sai Prakash, beating them 15-2, 15-12. The result: Final: ECA `A' bt Indiranagar Club 4-3 (Open doubles: Ajay & B.N. Sudhakar lost to G. Arun & Venkat Reddy 15-13, 12-15, 10-15; 35 + doubles: U. Vinod & Biju Prasad bt Tom & Bhuvanesh 15-7, 15-7; 45+ doubles: Joe & Allen John lost to Dr. Ram Iyer & Dr. Ravi 15-4, 9-15, 8-15; 55+ doubles: M.D. Murali & Balachandra Warrier bt Chandrshekar & Muralidhar Rao 15-3, 15-4; Second open doubles: Sobin & Girish bt Vijaykumar & Shivakumar 17-16, 16-17, 15-12; 35+ doubles: Balachandran & Thomas Kunnath lost to Satish & Prashanth 15-17, 4-15; 45+ doubles: Vinod Das & Roshan George bt Sunil Bhandary & Sa Prakash 15-2, 15-12).
