JD(S) plea to move Supreme Court

PALAKKAD, APRIL 9. The State and Central Governments should move the Supreme Court against the High Court order permitting the Coca-Cola plant at Plachimada to draw groundwater, the Janata Dal(S) Kerala unit's secretary general, K. Krishnankutty, said at a press conference here today. Mr. Krishnankutty said implementation of the order would amount to infringement of the powers of local bodies. — PTI
