Dacoits strike again

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, APRIL 9. A gang of at least eight members struck again at Shamirpet in the small hours of Saturday. Leaving behind two constables in the police station, all police officials set out to nab the gang later in the day. This is the second dacoity in Shamirpet in the last few days. The loss of property was estimated at Rs.5,000. "We suspect it to be the same gang which struck here earlier. Patrolling has been intensified and we are hopeful of nabbing the gang soon," a police official said.
