By Our Staff Reporter
PONDICHERRY, APRIL 10. Vice-president of the Pondicherry unit of the Retired Police Officers' Association N. Natarajan today urged Chief Minister N. Rangasamy to ensure job reservations for wards of retired officers in the Police Department. Speaking to reporters here today he said the government had done little despite several representations from the association. He hoped of getting a reply from the Chief Minister on the issue during the current Assembly session. He hoped that Pondicherry Administration would emulate the Tamil Nadu which had reserved jobs in the State Police department for wards of retired personnel.
