LUCKNOW, APRIL 10. The Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party will hold its executive meeting in Moradabad on April 23-24 to chalk out its strategy for launching an agitation against the ruling Samajwadi Party for `failure on all fronts.' The Samajwadi Party is also holding its national executive meeting at Patna from April 21 to 23. Announcing that the party would deliberate on chalking out its strategy for launching an anti-Mulayam agitation, state party president Kesri Nath Tripathi told UNI here today that a special political resolution could be adopted on the ``deteriorating law and order situation'' in the State. Political, agricultural and economic resolutions will also be adopted at the executive meeting, he added. Mr Tripathi said that BJP was well prepared to take on the government for its failure in providing security to the people. ``The problems faced by the farming community has reached its zenith,'' he said, adding that the power crisis in the State had also worsened. However, the State president refused to comment on media reports about his removal from the post. Talking about the just-concluded national executive meeting in New Delhi, Mr Tripathi said on the occasion of the 25th year of the foundation of BJP, a `Kishan Sangharsh Yatra' would be brought out from Bihar to Gujarat to highlight the plight of the farmers of the country. The yatra will commence from Champaran in Bihar on October 2 and end in Gujarat on October 25. ``The yatra will cover most parts of U.P. as it would traverse across the State from October 5 to 20'', he said. The BJP state president said the schedule of the yatra in U.P. is being chalked out. -- UNI
