Janata Dal (United) Minister resigns in Jharkhand

RANCHI,
APRIL 10.
The Drinking Water Supply Minister in the newly-constituted Arjun Munda Cabinet in Jharkhand, Radha Krishna Kishor, resigned from his post today.
To resolve the impasse between the constituents of the ruling NDA the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Janata Dal (United) over sharing ministerial berths in Jharkhand, the JD (U) today had to sacrifice Mr. Kishor, one of its members.
Later, talking to the presspersons here today, Mr. Kishor said that he had resigned from the post in order to stave off the crisis in the NDA.
He said he had sent his resignation to the Chief Minister.
