BANGALORE, APRIL 10. Screaming "Free Tibet" from atop the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) faculty hall building here, an activist triggered high drama on Sunday, even as the Chinese Premier, Wen Jiabao, talked about Indo-Chinese collaboration with top scientists. The city police arrested the activist and ordered a probe. The incident took place at about 3 p.m. in full media glare, a few minutes after the visiting dignitary was ushered in. A banner with the slogan "Free Tibet" appeared on the building's tower, four floors high. A moment later, the activist, Tenzin Tsundue, was standing on the balcony, making a speech and shouting slogans. Two policemen overpowered him. Later, the Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), H.C. Kishorechandra, admitted that it was a breach of security. "There was a lapse. There is no doubt about it. We will look into all aspects," he told presspersons.
