ALAPPUZHA, APRIL. 10. The `I' group in the district today held a public meeting at Narasimhapuram auditorium here in protest against the ouster of former Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president K. Muraleedharan from the party. The District Congress Committee (DCC) vice-president and chairman of the parallel district committee formed by the `I' group, G. Mukundan Pillai, inaugurated the meeting.
