THRISSUR, APRIL 10. The idol of Brahmasthana temple constructed by the Mata Amritanandamayi Math was installed here this morning. Mata Amritanandamayi performed `peeta pooja' at 5-30 a.m. She placed `navaratna; stones and a copper foil containing details of the consecration and astrological calculations inside the shrine. The rituals began at 4 a.m. with `maha Ganapati homam.' Poojas were performed by a 15-member team. The installation ceremony was attended by hundreds of devotees. The Health Minister, K.K. Ramachandran, and the MLA T.V. Chandramohan called on the Mata later.
