Judicial council planned

NEW DELHI, APRIL 10. The Centre is contemplating setting up a National Judicial Council in view of ``accusations'' against the Judiciary, Union Law Minister, H. R. Bhardwaj, has said.

``For the last few years, there have been accusations against the Judiciary. We are thinking of making the Judiciary accountable and setting up a National Judicial Council. The judges in the council will decide on the cases against the Judiciary and take action,'' he said.— PTI
