Around the City

Partly cloudy sky forecast

The sky will be partly cloudy on Monday, according to the weather forecast for Bangalore. The maximum temperature will be around 33 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 33.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius. The rainfall was 10.5 mm. The relative humidity was 87 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 32.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum was 21.2 degrees Celsius. It received 5.2 mm of rainfall. The relative humidity was 68 per cent.

Ayurvedic consultation

Essay contest

Indian Institute of Materials Management, as part of its Supply Chain Week, will be conducting an essay competition on "Green buying — right buying" or "BPOs/IteS: Opportunities in SCM." On Urdu literature

Anjuman Funkaran-E-Urdu, an association of Karnataka Urdu writers and journalists, has organised an essay competition on the topic "Influence of English Literature on the progress of Urdu literature." The essay should not exceed five foolscap sheets, neatly written or typed and should reach the Secretary General, Anjuman Funkaren-E-Urdu, 51, ITI colony, 32nd main, 1st phase, J.P. Sanskrit classes
