Asian Electronics pact with U.S. firm
MUMBAI,
: Asian Electronics has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the company has entered into an agreement with ABCO Licensing of the U.S., which is the sub-licensee of Westinghouse Electric Corporation, of the U.S., to procure, manufacture, assemble, market, distribute and sell lighting products and accessories under the "Westinghouse" brand in all SAARC countries including India. The agreement is effective from April 1 for an initial period of five years, renewable further as provided in the agreement.
