Quota for NCC cadets in police recruitment likely

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, APRIL 11. The State Government has, in principle, agreed to provide 10 per cent reservation for National Cadet Corps (NCC) in recruitment to the police and other paramilitary forces, according to the Deputy Director-General of NCC, James Sebastian.

"Our cadets are already half-trained, smart and disciplined. We have been getting excellent cooperation from the Government, and Andhra Pradesh is on top as far as our activities are concerned," Mr. Sebastian said on Monday. He was speaking to presspersons after inaugurating the two-day NCC Group Commanders' Conference.
