BANGALORE, APRIL 11. The two mofussil teams, Kanaka from Kolar and Greens of Davangere, registered facile wins in the State sub-junior basketball championship which got underway at the Sree Kanteerva Stadium courts here on Monday. Kanaka defeated Jayanagar Sports Club 55-30 after leading 31-10 at half-time, while Greens beat Rovers, Dharwad 46-19. In the other matches, YFBC, Kolar accounted for Durgans, Chitradurga 36-17 after leading 19-12 at the break and Vidyaniketan Sports Club beat Young Orions Sports Club 52-13. The results: Kanaka, Kolar 55 (Arun 16, Harish 0) bt JSC 20 ( Moiz 10 ). YFBC, Kolar bt Durgans, Chitradurga 36-17. Vidyaniketan 52 (Akash 12, Vivek 12) bt YOSC 13. Greens, Davangere 46 (Ranganath 10, Abhijith 12) bt Rovers, Dharwad 19.
