CUDDAPAH, APRIL 11. The Central and State Governments have failed on all fronts, the Bharatiya Kisan Morcha district president, Lakshmi Reddy, said on Monday. The Congress Governments were not taking up any public welfare measures, he alleged at a press conference at Vempalle. The previous NDA Government had curbed terrorism in the country and provided a stable rule for five years, he claimed. India's might was proved by the NDA, which had gaining the upper hand over Pakistan on the Kashmir issue, he said. The YSR Government failed to implement its pre-poll promises and the `Jalayagnam' programme turned out to be a money-spinner, Mr. Lakshmi Reddy alleged. Kisan credit cards and national insurance scheme for farmers, cellular services to villages, link roads to ports, food security scheme etc. were unique in the NDA rule, he maintained.
