NEW DELHI, APRIL 11. Taking a strong exception to the reported remarks by the RSS chief, K.S. Sudarshan, on the family background of BJP leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Uma Bharti, her elder brother, Kanhiya Lal, accused him of showing disrespect "to me, my family and my ancestors." In a letter to Mr. Sudarshan, he referred to the interview given by the RSS chief to a TV news channel where he had reportedly commented on Uma Bharti having been a sage in her previous birth and "questioned the family background." "I am 70 years old and I have been a communist before the birth of Uma... I have never been a supporter of Sangh ideology because it seems the Sangh was a promoter of Brahmanism... your comments has made it clear that Sangh has not freed itself from Brahmanical ideology and my disregard for it would only rise.''
