Illegal cracker factory unearthed
NEW DELHI,
APRIL 11.
In a major haul against illegal factories, police have unearthed nearly 400 kg of crackers and ten kgs of explosives from a residential colony in Shahdara area of East Delhi and arrested four persons.
The explosives and 393 kilograms of crackers along with other raw material were found from a cracker factory running illegally in Kabir Nagar area of Shahdara, in a raid following a tip-off, police said today. During interrogation, the accused disclosed that they procured the raw material from Uttar Pradesh and supplied them for marriage functions, police added.
