Protest against Murali's expulsion

KOCHI,
APRIL 11.
A section of Congress `I' workers today burned the AICC general secretary, Ahamed Patil, in effigy protesting against the expulsion of K. Muraleedharan from the party.
K.C. Ramesh and Varghese Mathew, DCC secretaries, and T.J. Vinod, Corporation councillor, led the procession that began from the DCC office premises. Several Youth Congress workers also participated in the procession, Mr. Ramesh said.
