BANGALORE, APRIL 11. Hundreds of Army job seekers thronged the "Army Recruitment Rally" which commenced at the Manekshaw Parade Grounds here on Monday. The rally will continue till April 17. Candidates arrived from Chamarajanagar, Mysore, Kolar, Mandya, Bangalore Urban and Rural and Tumkur districts. The recruitments were for enrolment in the Army in soldier technical, soldier clerk/storekeeper, nursing assistant, soldier general duty, soldier DC and tradesman categories. The Army had specified a minimum qualification of SSLC with 45 per cent marks and an age group of 17 years and six months to 21 years.
Documents
The candidates arriving in Bangalore for the rally in the next few days will have to submit documents and 12 passport-size colour photographs at the venue before 6 a.m. The recruitment officers told presspersons that the process is transparent.
