Film chamber clarifies on ticket rates

HYDERABAD,
APRIL 11.
The Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce has clarified that the ceiling on rates of admission was effective not just for theatres in specified centres but for those in all other areas.
In a press release, the chamber's Honorary Secretary C. Kalyan said that earlier there had been a misconception that the ceiling was applicable only for theatres in corporations and selection/special grade municipalities and hence the clarification. Also, the increase in seating capacity by 20 per cent was required for theatres even in I, II and III grade municipalities and panchayats, he said.
