Boy found

dead

A five-year-old boy, Mohd. Jawad, was found dead at a burial ground, near his house, at Gollapalli road in Shamshabad police station area on Sunday.

The boy, who went out in the morning, did not return home. His parents searched the entire area and found his body at the graveyard.

No injuries or marks were found on his body, according to the police.

Autorickshaw

taken away

Two persons, who boarded an autorickshaw, took away the vehicle after pushing down the driver at a secluded place in the Tukaramgate police station area on Sunday. The duo hired the vehicle at Tukaramgate compound. On reaching the RRC grounds, one of the two asked the driver Mohd. Raheem to stop the vehicle, while the other pushed out the driver and sped away in the vehicle.

Ganja seized

The Hyderabad police Task Force (Central) team, led by the Inspector, S. Chaturvedi, on Monday arrested four persons and seized 58 kg of ganja from them.

The arrested -- J. Seetham, 35, B. Ramesh, 22, B. Srinu, 19, and Mohd. Jani, 18 - told the police that they were transporting the ganja from Warangal, according to a press release.
