Leadership change

Sir, — The election of Prakash Karat as general secretary of the CPI (M) is welcome. It is the party leadership's simplicity and devotion that have kept it together even in difficult times. Maybe, the RSS chief should hold out the CPI(M) as an example to the BJP.
