Carbon dating of Taj demanded

AYODHYA, APRIL 12. Reiterating that the Taj Mahal was actually a Hindu temple, the former Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party president, Vinay Katiyar, today demanded "carbon dating" of the monument for "ascertaining the truth."

Talking to reporters here, he said that the 350-year-old world famous monument was actually `Tajomai Mahal' where the Rajput king, Jai Singh, offered prayers to Lord Shiva.— UNI
