VISAKHAPATNAM, APRIL 12. The Sabari Sporting Club, one of the top football clubs of the city, is organising the Dr. Ambedkar memorial football tournament at the Police Stadium here from April 14 to 20. All the 18 teams of the district `A' division league are participating in the tournament which would be held on knock-out basis, said the club's president, Dr. D. Adams, at a press conference here on Tuesday. A rolling trophy and individual prizes will be given to the winners and runner-up team. Special awards will be presented to the best goalkeeper, best forward and best defender of the tournament.
Playgrounds needed
The president of the District Football Association, Yellapu Raghuram, who also participated in the press conference, urged the State Government to provide playgrounds in the city.
