Tigers XI posts win

SALEM, APRIL 12. Tigers XI coasted to a two-wicket win over Rajagopalan Cricket Club in the Indian Bank-SDCA first division league at the Government Arts College grounds here on Sunday.

Brief scores: I Div.: Rajagopalan CC 197 in 38 overs (Ramesh 84, M. Thangadurai four for 29) lost to Tigers XI 199 for eight in 32.3 overs (Nirmal Bathija 65 not out, Thirumurugan five for 34).

Sivanthi Adityan CC 225 for nine in 40 overs (Jaganathan 66, J. Saravanan 53) bt Liberty CC 129.

Students CC 189 for nine in 40 (Karthik 50) bt Prime CC 134 in 37 overs.

II Div.: Blue Star CC 106 in 18 overs lost to Universal CC 112 for five in 21 overs (Babulal 50).

Eagles Eye 148 in 40 lost to Ravindran CC 149 for five in 24.5 overs (Balaji 44 not out).

III Div.: Premier CC 103 in 30 overs lost to Metro CC 108 for six in 24 overs (Amjath 45).
