IPCL gets patent for catalytic process

CHENNAI:, Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd. (IPCL) has over six dozen patents to its credit, including the development of commercial bimetallic reforming and also new generation xylene isomerisation catalyst `Encilite". The company has further enriched its intellectual capital by being conferred with a U.S. patent entitled,' Selectivated metallosilicate catalyst composite for alkylaromatic conversion, process for the preparation thereof, and use thereof in hydrocarbon conversion, says a company release.
