PATHANAMTHITTA, APRIL 12. The Revolutionary Youth Front (RYF) State secretary, Saleem P. Chacko, has alleged that the Congress-led United Progressive Allaince (UPA) Government had miserably failed to take any positive step to implement the promised Employment Guarantee Act, despite being in power for the past nine months. Mr. Saleem was inaugurating the dharna organised by the RYF district unit before the Head Post Office here this forenoon. He also urged the Union Government to take immediate steps to ensure not less than 180 days' employment assurance scheme for the unemployed youth, implementation of the promised Employment Guarantee Act and to announce a national youth policy with out any further delay. The RYF State vice-president, Pangode Suresh, district president, Johns Yohannan and secretary, S.Satheesh also spoke.
