NEDCAP officials explaining the features of a solar water heater to civic engineers at a training programme in Tirupati on Tuesday.
TIRUPATI, APRIL 12. A meet was held on design and technology of solar hot water system here on Tuesday. Engineers from TTD, TUDA and Tirupati Municipality, besides town planning officials, architects and builders attended. With the Government making it mandatory for multi-storied buildings and complexes to have solar water heating system, the Non-Conventional Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NEDCAP) organised the meet in association with Hyderabad-based Photon Energy Systems Limited. V.C. Bhavsar, Director (Technical), Photon, explained the features behind installation of the systemHe also explained the features of the economically-priced evacuated glass tube technology, suitable for hard water and required less maintenanceThe District Manager of NEDCAP, C.B. Jagadeeswara Reddy, spoke on the need to go solar in view of dwindling natural resources.
