CHENNAI, APRIL 12. The last date for sending applications for supplementary examinations, meant for Higher Secondary students, who had written the examination before March 2005 but not passed in maximum of three subjects, is April 15. According to an official release, applications are available at the Directorate of Government Examinations; Regional Deputy Director's Offices at Tirunelveli, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchi, Cuddalore and Vellore; offices of all Principal Educational Officers and District Educational Officers; and the Joint Director (Education) office at Pondicherry. Students submitting applications after the deadline have to remit a special charge of Rs. 1,000. Separate opportunity will be give to those who had written their examination in March 2005, it added.
