HYDERABAD, APRIL 12. The controversy regarding the admissions to PG Medical courses for this academic year is to be resolved by a full Bench comprising three Judges of the High Court, on Wednesday. A reference to this effect was made by the division Bench comprising J. Chalameshwar and Justice Ghulam Mohammed on Tuesday. It may be recalled that several students filed writ petitions challenging the 100-point roster system being adopted while making admission to the PG Medical courses. Gudipati Anantaram, who secured top rank in the entrance examination, could not get the seat of his choice and he filed a petition to bring all these issues to the notice of the court. Initially, a single judge declared that the counselling may go on but made it clear that this will not be given effect to. Later, at the request of the Government, the Judge referred the matter to the division bench. This case has been placed before the present division bench after another bench expressed its inability to hear the case. The present division bench heard the arguments on Tuesday and it was noticed that several issues had cropped up which are to be resolved by the full bench. The case has been referred to the bench and the case is listed on Wednesday.
