M.Phil. admissions: Applications have been invited for admission to the M.Phil courses at the departments of Aquatic Biology, Botany, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Zoology, Demography, Linguistics, Tamil, Malayalam, English, Politics, Economics, Sanskrit, Commerce Philosophy, Education, History, Psychology, Hindi, Sociology, Islamic Studies, Opto-electronics, Library and Information Science and Futures Studies for the academic year 2005-06. Details can be had from the university information centre.

Applications have also been invited for admission to the M.Phil. programmes (2005-06) in University College, Thiruvananthapuram, in mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, English, Malayalam, Hindi, history, Sanskrit, Arabic, philosophy and economics. The cost of the application form is Rs. 25. Completed application forms will be accepted by the college Principal till June 6.

MDS examination: The MDS part one examinations will commence on May 23 and part two examinations on June 20. Applications can be submitted without fine till April 30 and with a fine of Rs. 50 till May 3. The last date for submitting the theses of the part two examinations is May 20.

B.Pharm. examinations: Applications for the second and third year B.Pharm. examinations beginning May 11 can be submitted without fine till April 23 and with a fine of Rs. 50 till April 26.

MA examination: The final MA examinations (annual scheme) in Malayalam, Hindi and sociology will commence on April 27.

Revaluation: Applications for revaluation and scrutiny of answer sheets of the fifth semester B.Tech. examinations can be submitted till April 25.
