Letters to the Editor
The article "Keeping the bus going" (April 13) provides an insight into the historic Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus, particularly its coverage in the media. While the electronic media showcase the face value scenario, the print media take stock of the situation and inform the readers accordingly. Such write-ups are the need of hour and should be published as a series.
Surya Kant Sharma,
This was the main reason for the subdued reaction in Srinagar on April 7. There are few divided families in Srinagar as the Kashmir Valley was not at all bifurcated in 1947. As a regular reader of The Hindu , I appreciate your respect for facts and understanding of the complexity of the situation.
Shabir Hakla,
