Significant visit

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's visit to India is of global and strategic importance. Both countries are ready to arrive at a settlement of the longstanding boundary dispute through the Guiding Principles. The official presentation of a map showing Sikkim as part of India is of immense importance in this context. The positive impact of Mr. Wen's visit is the culmination of the 40-year effort in the direction of improving the India-China relationship.
