Higher education

This is with reference to the article, "Higher education in India" (April 12). The various causes have been rightly identified are brain drain, poor education standards, poor ratio of quality teaching staff at various levels, lack of universities that impart quality teaching, and inaccessibility to higher education for the vast majority.
