Party has ignored my services: Bangaru Laxman
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD:
The former Bharatiya Janata Party president, Bangaru Laxman, has found fault with the party for ignoring his services during the past four years and said that it had "certainly hurt" Dalits all over the country. Talking to reporters after participating in Ambedkar Jayanthi at the BJP office here on Thursday, he said he was not given any position or responsibility in the party though he remained an obedient worker. People who left and rejoined the party were given position.
Asked if the party had done "injustice" to him, he said it was an "omission" and he was not holding anybody responsible, including Tarun Tejpal of Tehelka. He, however, described the Tehelka episode as a "conspiracy."
