Siemens gets turnkey contracts

CHENNAI: Siemens has bagged major electrical and automation turnkey contracts from three machinery suppliers totalling Rs. 250 crores for the Neyveli Lignite Corporation mines II expansion project. The solution, to be provided by Siemens, is expected to substantially reduce production costs and increase plant availability. Siemens has won the contract through machinery suppliers, ThyssenKrupp India, Larsen and Toubro and Man Takraf for providing turnkey electrical and automation solutions for NLC.
