Holiday declared on April 18

NEW DELHI: The Central Government on Thursday announced a holiday on April 18, Monday, on the occasion of Ram Navmi festival, a decision because of which resumption of Budget Session of Parliament will be postponed to Tuesday.

All Central Government offices would remain closed on Monday, a day marking the birthday of Lord Rama, an official spokesman said.

In view of the decision, both Houses of Parliament Session will resume their session on Tuesday instead of Monday. — PTI
