Kalam expresses grief over Narmada tragedy

NEW DELHI.: The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has expressed grief over the loss of lives, when some pilgrims were drowned in Narmada in Madhya Pradesh. In a message to the Chief Minister, the President said that he was sure that the State Government was providing all possible assistance to the injured and relief to the next of kin of those who have lost their lives.

The President also conveyed his condolences to the next of kin of those who have lost their lives in the tragedy.
