HYDERABAD: The Minister for Panchayat Raj, J.C. Diwakar Reddy, was reportedly grilled by a team of officials from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for about an hour here on Friday in connection with the murder of the Telugu Desam legislator, Paritala Ravindra. The team had interrogated Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, on Thursday. Though the CBI officials sought to interrogate the Minister at his residence, the latter preferred to present himself before it. The CBI has undertaken the probe at the instance of Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy when the names of his son, his Cabinet colleague and that of the Inspector- General of Police, Rayalaseema region, R.P. Meena, figured in the first information report.
