NEW DELHI: A fight over the overlapping of timings led to a Blueline bus driver being beaten to death by the owner and two helpers of another Blueline bus at Mongolpuri in North-West Delhi on Friday. The incident reportedly occurred around 11 a.m. when the two Blueline buses (Route 901) ended up reaching the bus stops at the same time, resulting in an altercation between the drivers and owners. Thirty five-year-old, Dalbir, who was driving one of the buses was then beaten up with a rod by the owner and two helpers of the other bus. While Dalbir died on the spot, the three accused are absconding. In a similar incident that occurred recently, another Blueline driver was beaten to death.
