VISAKHAPATNAM: A Rs. 3-lakh protected water supply scheme would be sanctioned to solve the drinking water problem at the SC-BC Colony at Parawada, its MLA, Gandi Babjee, said during the Praja Patham programme on Friday. Mr. Babji also promised to take up the issue of providing compensation to owners of buildings demolished for widening roads, houses to the victims of a fire accident and Sulabh complexes in Parawada. He assured the villagers that the site to establish a Government Degree College at Parawada would not be used for any other purpose.
