Ryot-Coolies allege police oppression

KAKINADA: The district unit secretary of the CPI(ML) New Democracy, P. Tanya, has alleged that the police, instead of protecting the law, is violating the same and resorting to oppressive measures against ryot-coolies with tacit support of landlords. Addressing the inaugural session of the seventh district conference of the All-India Kisan Mazdoor Sabha (AIKMS) here on Saturday, Ms. Tanya called upon the ryot-coolies to resist the oppressive measures.
