BANGALORE: S.Ajay defeated Anirudh Deshpande 15-7,15-10 and advanced to the second round of the boys under-10 singles in the Mehul Sirur memorial sub-junior badminton championship at Canara Union courts here on Saturday. Shivnaik extended M.C.Srivas to extra points in the first game, before losing at 17-15,15-9.
