NEW DELHI: Sridhar Shanmugham will captain the Indian team in the qualifying round of Middle Asia Zone for the 16th FIBA-Asia Champions Cup for men, in Kazakhstan from April 16 to 20. The winner of the round will participate in the Champions Cup in Manila, The Philippines, from May 29 to June 5.
The team: Sridhar Shanmugam (captain), Shahul Hamid Shabeer Ahmed, Mohit Bhandari, S. Robinson, Subath Shenoy, Talwinderjit Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Yadwinder Singh, Sambhaji Kadam, Trideep Rai, Riyazuddin and Shiv Kumar. Coaches: Jay Prakash Singh, S.K. Raja and Amarjit Singh.
